Daily goals, streaks and streak freezes explained
How daily goals and streaks work: pick 3, 5 or 10 matches a day, which matches count, daily and weekly quests, the weekly chest and up to two streak freezes.

The daily loop in one paragraph
Every day you pick how many league matches you want to play. Hit that number and the day counts toward your streak. Along the way, small daily and weekly quests pay season XP, and finishing every weekly quest opens the weekly chest, which also gives you a streak freeze. None of this ever hands out LP: your league position comes only from winning matches.
Choosing your daily goal
The daily goal is yours to set. You can choose 3, 5 or 10 matches per day, and it starts at 5 until you change it. Pick the number you can hit on an ordinary day, not on your best day. A streak built on 3 matches a day is worth more to you than a streak of 10 that breaks every Thursday.
Days reset at 00:00 UTC. The moment you complete your goal, that day is recorded as a goal day, so changing your goal later never rewrites days you have already completed.
Which matches count
Only finished ranked 1v1 matches count, whether your opponent was a person or a labelled ghost, and whether or not the match was rated. Placement matches count too. Battle Royale lobbies and solo warm-up tests do not count toward the daily goal or the quests.
A match counts as played when it ends in one of these outcomes:
- a win
- a loss
- a draw
- a win because your opponent never sent their run
- a result that is under review
Forfeits do not count
Two outcomes are left out on purpose. A forfeit, where you left the match or never sent your run, does not count, and neither does a match that was cancelled with no result. Otherwise you could fill your goal by joining the queue and walking away, which would make the goal meaningless and leave your opponents with empty matches.
A match is counted when it is settled, not when you join the queue, and it belongs to the UTC day on which it closed. A match you start a few seconds before midnight UTC can therefore land on the next day.
Putting the numbers together
The daily and weekly quests are designed to fit together. With the default goal of 5, hitting it on four days of the week gives you 20 matches, which completes both Busy week and Goal days at once; seven wins out of those twenty finishes the chest. With a goal of 3, four goal days only add up to 12 matches, so you need eight more spread across the week for Busy week. With a goal of 10, two days are enough for 20 matches, but Goal days still asks for four separate days.
On a good day the three daily quests pay 60 XP. A full week of weekly quests plus the chest pays 3 × 40 + 50 = 170 XP more.
Daily and weekly quests
Three quests reset every day and three reset every week on Monday at 00:00 UTC. All of them count the same league matches as the daily goal.
- Daily goal: play your chosen number of matches today, 30 XP
- First win: win a league match today, 15 XP
- Clean match: finish a league match at 95% accuracy or above today, 15 XP
- Busy week: play 20 league matches this week, 40 XP
- Winning week: win 7 league matches this week, 40 XP
- Goal days: hit your daily goal on 4 days this week, 40 XP
How the streak works
Your streak is the number of consecutive days on which you hit your daily goal. Today does not break it while today is still running: if you have not finished yet, the streak is shown as at risk, with the number of matches you still need. It only breaks once a full day passes without the goal and without a freeze to cover it.
Your longest streak is kept separately, so a broken streak never erases your best.
The weekly chest and streak freezes
Finish all three weekly quests and the weekly chest is yours. Its contents are fixed, not random: 50 season XP and one streak freeze. There are no drop rates and nothing to open; the chest is paid automatically at the end of the match that earns it, just like quest rewards. It resets with the week on Monday.
You can hold at most two freezes; a chest opened while you already have two adds nothing. A new freeze becomes usable from the day after the chest that gave it, since the day you opened the chest was a played day anyway.
Freezes are spent automatically. If a past day passes without your goal while you have a live streak and a freeze in hand, the freeze covers that day: the streak survives, but the frozen day is not added to it. If your streak is already at zero, no freeze is spent, because there is nothing to protect.
In practice this means a missed day here and there, at most two in a row, will not cost you a long streak, provided you keep finishing your weekly quests.
Rewards are season XP, never LP
Every quest and chest reward is season XP. Season XP fills your season tier, at 100 XP per tier up to tier 10, and it starts fresh each season. It is cosmetic progress and has no effect on your LP, your league, your matchmaking or the score of any match.
This is a firm rule: playing many matches should never be a way to buy rank. Your LP moves only with wins and losses, so the loop gives you a reason to show up every day while your league still reflects how well you type. A good routine is to warm up for a minute in the solo test, then play your goal while you are fresh.
